If brunch on Bartók Béla Boulevard is on your bucket list, Nicaragua Brunch Bar Budapest is the perfect choice. Our restaurant awaits you in the heart of Bartók Béla Boulevard, where we combine classic brunch dishes with the flavors and atmosphere of Nicaragua.
At Nicaragua Brunch—one of Buda’s most unique spots—we place great emphasis not only on flavors but also on the setting. The interior feels truly welcoming thanks to original paintings, decorative pieces from Nicaragua, and plenty of lush green plants. Whether it’s a weekend brunch with friends, a romantic breakfast, or a long and relaxed lunch, a special experience is always waiting for you here.
At our Bartók Béla Boulevard location, brunch in Buda doesn’t end in the afternoon. We welcome you with a bistro menu until 10 PM, where you can explore the exciting world of Nicaraguan cuisine and taste our selection of special rums and handcrafted cocktails.
One highlight is Flor de Caña, Nicaragua’s famous rum. We offer a wide selection, including 4, 7, 12, 15, 18, and 25-year-aged rums, as well as our signature cocktails—such as the Macuá, Nicaragua’s national cocktail made with guava, rum, and freshly squeezed orange juice. And if you visit us on a summer day, don’t miss the Michelada, a beer-based cocktail that’s so bad it’s actually good!
Of course, we also place special emphasis on coffee. Our specialty coffee beans come from a Nicaraguan producer we personally discovered. The beans—Caturra and Catuai varieties processed using the “natural” method—are roasted in Hungary by Impresso. This allows us to ensure a consistently high-quality coffee with a distinctive flavor profile. In addition to espresso, we also prepare filter coffee, cold brew, and batch brew, along with seasonal specialties. For matcha we use premium ceremonial-grade quality, and our chai base is made in-house.
So if you’re looking for a truly unique brunch spot in Buda—where quality ingredients, exciting flavors, and a relaxed Mediterranean vibe come together—Nicaragua on Bartók Béla Boulevard is a must-visit destination.
